On Thursday the 10th of April The Centre for the Creative Industries and BBC Cymru Wales opened its doors and hosted the C6 Business Breakfast and website launch.

Despite the early morning start, many of you came along to The Centre for the Creative Industries at Glyndwr University, to learn more about the facilities they have to offer in the £5m Centre which is also the home to BBC Cymru Wales in Wrexham.

Mike Wright head of Creative Media and Technology at Glyndŵr and Bethan Williams Head of BBC in North Wales gave presentations as well as a tour of the modern building featuring state-of-the-art TV and radio studios, 3D workshops, design studios, IT suites, Apple training suites and post-production audio and visual facilities.

One of the highlights of the morning was the official launch of the C6 bilingual website.   Derick Murdoch from Galactig Digital Creative Agency, who were responsible for creating the site, gave the attendees a demonstration of the features on the new website and highlighted the importance of the site for the Creative Industries in North Wales.

It was a successful Business Breakfast, with plenty of networking and new contacts being created.
