Geiriau Gwyllt

Pixel Knights

Pixel Knights specialise in writing mobile games. But not just any old mobile games, they try to make them as accessible as possible to Welsh speakers. Their most recent game, Geiriau Gwyllt (Wild Words) is written entirely in Welsh.

They used the same technology (Gamesalad) that they used to teach Children to code at Gwynedd Youth Club’s APPrentis scheme, as they wanted to show that the tools that they were teaching were the same tools that viable commercial applications could be written in.

Available in IOS and Android

Geiriau Gwyllt is a fun word game for all ages. With thousands of words in the games’ dictionary, the aim is to create as many words as possible in the time given A game that appeals to the whole family, as well as add that competitive play where you are always trying to beat your friends’ scores.
